Not seen one of these before...

There are 2 at least of them and they are used to transport aircraft parts from Iltay to the USA. Have been regualr in the skies over Uk for at least the last year. Try finding a picture of one just to see how anazing they are :-0

Quite right. Looks like ANRB has the wrong aircraft details :(

No, it's airliners.net with the wrong details - do a search for registration 254 and see what comes up :-) (whoops, my mistake, dhould have been 252 - but you get the idea)

Just not enough of a registration to be unique! These are just a few of the aircraft that come up.

So why has ANRB got this aircraft listed as owned by the Bulgarian Air Force, and of type Sukhoi Su-25K - surely that information doesn't come from airliner.net does it? GAS has:

The early database on the server would already have some detail stored to match up with pictures, in this case it had this.

When nothing is found on that database it then calls GAS to update.

Another point worth mentioning. If you have registrations that just consist of numbers (as with 252) there is no guarantee that there is only one aircraft registered with that number in the world, also it could be a construction number. What I do when this happens is do a manual search airliners net and narrow down the oporator with the registration and that almost always finds the correct one. Then file save as and use the correct fiel name for the aircraft and it will overwrite the info in the RB photo file sao that next time it appears you get the right one. With German Airforce I change the MyLog registartion to (eg 10+21) and change the image file to the same name. A bit fiddly but it gets the job done.

Just had a look through My-Log today and amazed at some of the planes flying in my "local" airspace. Picked up 2 Airbus Beluga's as well as the Dreamlifter posted earlier, several foreign Awacs, the Met police Heli (must of been a hell of a car chase to pick it up on Teesside).

I've also had plenty of American, French, Canadian, Ukrainian military flights.

Just goes to show what we might have missed before they got MyLog Working!
