Either my eyesight has gone or the db is wrong

Just gone right over my place is N949CA NCR950 showing as a B744 with 2 picture of a CRJ.......however it only had two engines!

Looked more like a B777 with dark underside!

Accordiong the the FAA N949CA is as per the d/b, a 747.  What hex was the aircraft you saw using.  N949CA is AD2ECA.

It was only 3000ft and right above me.....Possible miscode, sort of like old United B772 c/s on underside?

The details are as expected for N949CA and as its in National Air Cargo colours its underside from the wings back is dark blue as are the engine cowling. 

The previous N949CA was a CRJ now scrapped.
Their isnt normally a time lag for new info coming up.  I often see unknown, upload the data and click on them and get the data within 20 seconds or so.  I noted an unknown today which had been entered while I was away and it must have taken around 45 seconds to a minute to come up with the info though.

If engines and u/s are dark blue and as it was dark, might explain why it looked like only two as the inner engines would be lit up by its landing lights, bins were not handy...better get my eyes checked!!

National would explain its routing as it would be going to Jebel Ali, as at first I thought it was inbound Dubai Mil which is a bit tight for a lump.

Dont have any of the hexes either.

Thanks for the Chinese unknown you tied up, I was not too hopeful for many as I had searched the new d/b I downloaded while your were away. Some unknowns may have been Citation training aircraft.

sorry to bother you on this but I picked up and saw  TF-NAD B744F as ex N949CA in October one year ago, has it been reregistered or is it now miscoding?
