My back up file has 60083D as 4K-AZ60 IL76TD Silk Way 00934 99982 (re use of old AN12 reg) whereas the new d/b has it as 4K-AZ61 c/n 1023412411, which I do not have a hex for. C/n's are correct (Soviet Air Transports).

Looking back in my Logs both appear as 60083D so there must have been an update in 2010 that changed the info but cannot remember if I changed it or when updating.

Which is correct and do you know the missing hex?

Both airframes.org and GAS as well as us have 60083D as 4K-AZ61. Sadly I do not know or can find the code for 4K-AZ60.

You are right as on looking in my excel log I saw it as 60083D and read it off and reported it as 4K-AZ61 16/10/09. On 14/6/10 it reverted to 4K-AZ60 AN12 So I pass on how and why it changed in d/b!

I believe 4K-AZ60 maybe miscoding as 4C0188 (ex YU-AMI) as it previously did as RA-76822 throughout 2010. However have not picked it up in 2011 so cannot confirm but maybe some other user has picked up this code this year.

Re 4K-AZ60 reappearing as an An12 and confusing me.

I now remember what happened...my computer crashed and I lost all my updates from Nov 2008 to mid 2010, and when I reloaded the CD onto the new computer, the old info came up from the original AirNav db which was years out of date and showed the original 4K-AZ60 An12 as being 60083D! I then found out how to save my database regularly to avoid any future crashes wiping out my personal updates.

It is miscoding, G-CGKR should be showing 4060E0.  Its a Grob G 115E, c/n 82317/E of Babcock Aerospace

Are you connected to the network.  Unknowns should update themselves when the info is in the d/b.  HZ-ASL was added at 1318 so should have downloaded if you clicked on it.

I must have a problem or delay as this is the second one that did not populate when I went on network in last 24 hours and has happened previously, happened yesterday with VQ-BVQ which Andrew advised was in but was not populating my end but did after about 30 minutes or so. Is there a time lag between you inputting on d/b or is it immediate?

I am still concerned about staying on network for more than 15 minutes at a time on as it stops my hardware working after a certain amount of time.
