No tie ups for any of them X.

Only problem I have with the UAE Air Force C208 tie ups is that the American hex/registration combinations are Cessna delivery/test registrations. For example A07428 has been used 3 times that I am aware of by a C172 and a C560 in addition to the C208 so is likely to be used again.  As you noted them in 2008 and 9, hopefully they are using their correct hex by now.  I dont know the new serial of N1762J.

Unfortunately they still use US their old mode S codes sometimes with flight id which is reg.

I have no tie ups for two other C208's delivered to UAEAF N1298H A07899 c/n 1165 and N11116 A03284 c/n 1231. Have never picked them up.

I dont have the tie ups for them either.  BTW N1116 has been used twice since the C208 was delivered both times by C206's, one went to Canada and one went to Mexico.

That's life with Cessna and Boeing. Just have to keep those reg miscodes in mind out here.

While I am on I will ask this question.

Since early this year and when I am on network sometimes I get a 2 minute delay in picking up or regularly a complete shut down of my Hardware, so for last six months I am avoiding using the network until quiet times in the day to update. I then shutdown and restart. e.g. just missed A6-EGC B773 going out as it did not report until out of sight.

Sometimes I have lost a whole nights logs because I left Network running and the Hardware froze.

This is second Navbox and second computer so it must be something in the programme or settings NOT the box. I have a top of the range Lenovo ThinkPad using Windows 7, intel i3 Core so there should be no issues there.

I have asked AirNav directly by email but no answer was really forthcoming, but box went back to UK for repair after I had an unexpected lightning storm issue when something frazzled. The box has since been replaced.

Have you any others who have faced this issue or anything like it?

Have you installed to the default C:\programfiles\Airnav or to  C:\Airnav.  This me be symptomatic of the windows virtual store problem and installation from Vista onwards to program files should be avaoided.

Alan

It is in C:\programfiles(x86)\Airnav

Are you saying I should move it to C:\Airnav.

Morning Brian,

I have been picking this up also.  Hex 3E1A80 comes out as D-IBFS.  As far as I am aware Be200 D-IBFS c/n BB-1349 is now N64CE since late 2007, early 2008.  The picture of the Be200 D-IBFS on Airframes is from 2005.

Alternatively the registration has been re-issed to another frame as yet unidentified.

Yes X, keep away from the default program files location with Airnav from Vista onwards and avoid problems from the virtual store.

Moved it to C:\Airnav and everything is working fine so now testing on Network

Fingers crossed

Thanks for your tip

PS Where did you get 728621 and 728622 from?

The mode-s forum and the database that I use, probably picked up as the flew over on delivery in 2008 I would expect.

728001 has been picked up on 7 occasions from Salmiya with none before 23/6/11 and is recorded as unknown

I will email the mode-s editor of the database and see what he says.
