Hi Alan/Andrew,

This is Jim Stockwell in the form of his son re: issues with installing the updated database. After much trial and error, we found that the autoinstaller executable was automatically putting the new database files in a folder called "Data". As we were instructing the installer to unpack to "c:\program files\AirNav Systems\AirNav RadarBox 2009\Data", it was creating a subfolder in the Data folder called... Data - hence the program wasn't able to read the new database file. The problem was solved by instructing the executable to install to "c:\program files\AirNav Systems\AirNav RadarBox 2009".

This is all fine and well for the version of RadarBox installed on the Pc with Windows XP. However, trying the same solution on the PC with Windows7 doesn't reap the same reward. VirtualStore doesn't seem to be on this computer, so we're not sure why the database isn't updating on this version. Any ideas please?

This must be the second aircraft on trial with  RAF  ?

Edit : I now see from ModeS there is a conflict of 343448 with EC-LCZ (this appears to be an error as 343488 is EC-LCZ). The callsign though i would have thought would be consistent with a new a/c from CASA.  LIBHOMERADAR has 343448 as EC336 A332 CALLSIGN CASA336  c/n 1183 so it seems to be correct.

JIC, maybe my db is out of date but 484123 was populated as P4-MMG B721 which was B/U way back, it should have shown as P4-KUL E135 c/n 145-00978 using fn P4KUL

I have seen a report that states 4L-SKD IL76 is 514048 and 4L-SKN IL76 is 514053, can you confirm as my db has 514053 as 4L-SKD? NB I have never picked up 514048 but have 514053 on four occasions in June July

514053 is currently in the db as 4L-SKD and noted on GAS as such, and 4L-SKN is not in the db.

What's your source?
