Hi,
about 3FB123 DIXI13 I was able to follow this one on screen from Hannover (EDDV) heading to Frankfurt (Main) (EDDF) all the time at FL90 with a speed of 200 to 250 knots, if I remember correctly. Might be a "long-distance travelling helicopter"...

By the way, have you noticed my Thursdays-Post on page 39 of this thread?

A ground transmitter at 62,000 ft,

Cheers Kieth

Alan

It is UK CAA policy that Ground Transmitters at airports are programmed to send out heights that completely deconflict with air traffic.  Advice is to set Ground Transmitters altitude to minus hundreds of feet or to a height above 60,000ft in order to be outside possible realms of air traffic.  This is so they do not hinder aircraft traffic alert systems that rely on mode S height data.

Must be the same rules in Singapore as I had some ground equipment appearing to go ballistic during my stay in July.

It is taken from the automatically sent Report/Logfile. So it is possible, that this is a decoding error. But without a flight id as a digging tool and a number of about of 4800 flights in the log yesterday it is highly impossible to figure out which airframe was decoded incorrectly.
