Has anyone tried any of the aircraft icons other than "simple"? We were considering setting the default to "detailed", but I switched it to "simple" for default to make it a little faster for slower PCs. 'Detailed' icons show real top-view rendered icons (I used the RB3D 3D models as reference). 2.5D is quite CPU intensive but adds a cool 'height' dimension to the icons.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

Yes, I've tried all icons.  I particularly like the 2.5D icons, and use them in low traffic areas.  For normal use, I stick to using Simple for performance reasons.
