Quick question: What does "FL100" mean? I know it has to do with elevation of the aircraft but not sure if it means the obvious (FL100=100 or 1000ft). Your help is much appreciated!

FL300 equates to 30000ft or 9144 meters
FL100 equates to 10000ft or 3048 meters.
FL60 equates 6000ft or 1829 meters,
I set my box to show altitude above 5000ft as FL = Flight Level.
