Its got to cover all eventualities to keep the bulk of the users happy, so looks good to me on what you are proposing.

I have updated to 5.00.47 and am experiencing the following problems
I do not have a home location marked on the map any more
Also if I click on my log and try to look up anything it either crashes out or takes a very long time before it responds

Nick,

To show the home location marker go to Preference/Legends and Lables and tick Draw Home Location Legend.

The mylog issue is well on the way to being corrected and should be on the next beta release

I believe a new version may well also recognise MSG strings.

TELNET running and logging this morning but the MIL traffic has disappeared for now !!!

If you have less then 3 clients/applications connected to ANRB port 30003, you will get data for all of them.
If you try a 4th connection, it will not be refused, but one of the previous 3 will not receive data anymore.

This is not related to version 5 of ANRB. I think it was discussed on this forum since 2009.
