Just been reading through the last few posts and with regard to the C17 10-0223, this site if you put in the Mode S codes given AE4F17 and AE54B3, they both give the registration as 10-0223. I just use the public area Mode S database . Conclusion - nobody knows :

Hi Paul,

Thanks. N666KQ was added this morning on arrival at an airport in your neck of the woods and it autopopulated for me on departure.

I noted 4D0241 on a number of log from yesterday from users in the south of England.  It decodes to LX-FGL a C510 which was cancelled from the Luxembourg register in February. GAC is the IACO identifier for Globeair of Austria who operate a number of Mustangs.  So it looks like it has found a new home but is still using its old hex with its new flight ID.

Hi Ian,

I use that site myself, with care!  It definitely used AE54B3 when test flying but if it was to follow the sequence it should have used the other one.  It is definitely using AE53B3 and was last logged yesterday but whether it also uses the other one as well I don't know nobody has eyeballed it.

10-0223 has been in the area since September pinging AE54B3 but 35000 is C17 level which is why I was surprised it did not populate as a Reach flight.

Just had AFL2521 come over routing LEMG-UUEE. It is VP-BID an A320-214 c/n 5421 with a hex of 4242A8. However the corresponding pictures show a B747 of Air Bridge Cargo.
