I have a problem with that one.  It decodes to N496XD which doesn't look like it has been allocated previously so looks like a miscoded miscode!!

I think we should read it as A6-2873 rather than look at US codes as all of these Bells are using A6 (for UAE) then reg. Basically a deliberate miscode.

Are they using A6 or just the 4 number serial.  What kind of Bell is it B412?

They are Bell 407GX's delivered to UAE AF recently and reg's are 2871 thru 2877 (so far) but ping A62871-7 (A6-2871-7). C/N's not all confirmed.
