Database Update Requests

Hi Terry,

There are no 5 figure hex codes in the database only six figure code.  I searched using the first five and a wildcard and none were found see the attached two examples.  I also searched using only the first five first figured but again found nothing.  As you can see the ones you mentioned are showing complete.

A34EB7 was not entered as it is MD90 N312EV which is/was to be broken up for spares

All the others have been tied up and entered into the database.

Yes I used my updater software.  It doesn't let me add in any less than 6 figures for the hex code.  You may well had those ones in your d/b before updating and as they were there before the update and the update did not contain those ones they would be left as they were and would not be overwritten.

Also had on 'My Flights' and in d/b : 393DE6 F-GPPG an AW109E of Proteus Helicopters with c/n 11133. It was using flight id MEECMIZ. With that looking a bit familiar, I looked up the current Spanish register for EC-MIZ and it shows an AW109E c/n 11133 of INAER and with it's previous registration of F-GPPG. So, not sure if EC-MIZ has reverted back to F-GPPG or if EC-MIZ is using an incorrect hex or what !

AFternoon Terry,

Regarding 9H-TQM.  Can you confirm that it is being used in some way by the foundation/is registered to them or leased to them etc and is not just in their colours for advertising etc as it is operating TCX2830 Manchester to Miami at this time so would appear to be leased to Thomas Cook Airlines and has just coasted out over North West Ireland.  It appears to have been operating for TCX for at least the last month.

Now that you advise that the first character is the blank space that made sense and I found them this time.  Looks like when I was cutting and pasting from the FAA list I was introducing the space so will watch for that in the future.  My adding in the correct hex yesterday left them there but now that I know the space was first enabled me to delete the.

Cheers Terry, am leaving it as HiFly Malta/Thomas Cook Airlines until it comes off lease and goes to its next airline.

Hi Fly is owned by Mirpuri Investments and Mirpuri Foundation is the main sponsor of the Hi Fly Academy so its just advertising on the aircraft, a billboard for the owning company.

Further to the AW109 F-GPPG, I can confirm that according to my own database, it was seen at Muchamiel on the 16th May 2017 registered as EC-MIZ.
