As long as it has a hex code the flight levels show, doesnt even need to be in the database
106C89 no allocation unknown to me presumably a miscode or decoding error

The registration details of all the aircraft you detail are in the database, when did you last update

i did an last update last night and again today alan i not happy with this new dongle at all will be looking for something else i am just geting to much blank info and a lot of hexcode showing so its no better then the mirco dongle alan.

How many aircraft do you have in the aircraft table Andy, todays update should give around 447,859 rows.  I presume that you reinstalled the software and now have 2 instances on the computer and the update is going to the wrong instance.

I would suggest you uninstall the instance you recentkly installed and use the one you were using previously.

i uninstalled the software that i use to use for the mirco and installed new software sent via email from airnav alan

Its nothing to do with the dongle its the software and how you installed it.  If you use your previous dongle you will get the same results.

See the previous email, did you manually delete the orphan files left when you uninstalled. You should have the 447, 485 rows, how many do you have in yours I would suggest you have around the 200,000 that comes with the software.

They will have sent a link to the version available at the top of the page under software which is basically the same as you has except that it can also be used by the x-range receiver and there was no need for you to change from what you were using

Did you install to program files as advised or did you install to c:\Airnav

i uninstalled the old airnav software as when i clickd on the airnav icon it would not start up so sent an email to airnav then they sent me an link to stsrt all over again but i had to uninstall the old airnav software alan.

The update is going to the old database not your new download.  I believe populatein Mylog will do the same

My suggestion is to uninstall.  Once you have done that go into Windows look for a folder named Airnav and delete it, go into program files again llook for a folder named Airnav and delete it.  Use the windows search function type Airnav and if anything shows delete it.  Then install to c:\Airnav not the default program files as suggested by the Airnav software installer.  You should then be able to updated correctly
