Morning Alan

Please can you check VH-NJC   Mode 7C4316 Bae146 in my system but it is a Phenom300

The reason is I my laptop crashed  and have managed to get the system on a spare
I did a update this morning which shows 508479  but against aircraft it shows 234575
any clues how to resolve this matter

Many Thanks
John

Hi John

VH-NJC is in the d/b as the Phenom and I checked todays download and my NavData is showing it as such also.  I am showing 508090 rows in the aircraft table????

The phenom has been in the database since 2018 so I suggest that you are looking at the NavData that comes with the software download soam going to suggest that you have more than one instance of the software on your computer and the update is going to the wrong one

The best way to resolve this is to delete all instances of the Airnav software off the computer and once you have done the automatic de-installation you go in and manually delete all Airnav folders you find left behind, in addition to your root C;\ folders also check in program files in case there is anything in there.

When you are happy there is nothing Airnav left, Install to C:\Airnav do not install into programe files

If you want to keep any folders like logo, silhouttes that you have updated previously do so before anything else, save them to somewhere on your computer and use the to replace the dowanload folders

Once running again, do a d/b update and hopefully all will be well

Hi Alan

Thanks for the info. I have tried everything but no luck, could the problem be that
I have a very old Airnav box ??

If you are seeing aircraft that shouldnt be the issue as everthing is in the software not the box and the software is on your computer

When you look at VH-NJC in the Aircraft tab of your Navdata what do you see?

Alan

When I looked it was showing a 146   also  a Air Canada 330 was showing  B738  and one more  LX-JVC  was not showing PC24

LX-JVC in todays update as PC24 and has been since 2021 and none of the Air Canada A333's have an incorrect ICAO type code

It is therefore looking more and more like I described earlier

I have also noted no new entries I have made on the server database have made it into the Navdata and have advised Airnav with a request to fix ASAP
