Strange looking registration and looks more like a c/n which is generally printed on the tail of a Mi8

* 157C86 0097414 MI8 Russia - Air Force 2020/01/18 11:26:45

157C86 does decode to RA-97414 but can find nothing on a Mi8 reference to 97414 except a c/n for Mi8 RA-22761 but that should be 1458E9, however it is a 2017 build (but only delivered 2019) and might have been seen at ZIA or Mil plant with no registration applied and hex given due to c/n? Possibly therefore a miscode

Its call sign is 0022761 ex VKO so must be RA-22761 and is therefore a miscode

According to Russiaplanes it is owned by an unnamed leasing Company

Hi! Yes.Its MI 8 and reg not Ra-97414.97414 -part of factory number for this helicopter :)
