3D View not loading

When going into 3D view the plugin is not loading and eventually asks me to download the Google Earth plugin. The plugin is already installed on my computer. Is this a problem with my computer or is anyone else having the same problem . I am using the latest version ie 5.00.072 and have no other problems other than 3D view.
