Afternoon Everyone,

Having upgraded from version 3 to version 5, could someone please be kind enough to tell me how to upgrade to version 6?

If you go to the support page you will get it there http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/ANRB60000Setup.exe

Please not it is only beneficial to upgrade to V6 if you are using a DVT stick or a comstation as other than allowing these to operate with it there is no difference over V5

could someone please tell me if Version 6 has a map of Malta, as version 4 did but Version 5 hasn't.

V6 is based on V5, so what is missing in V5 is missing in V6 except the capability to work with DVB-T SDR DONGLES and the AirNav Systems Comstation, which wasn't integated in V5. Furthermore the 3D option ia not available in V6.

I think this will be what you are looking for John, probably done by Rod, dated 2012. There is one for the airport as well if you want it.

Hi,

Install 6.00 this afternoon and it overwrited my MyLog.db3 file. Luckly I can recover previous version from windows so only last week log was lost.

So backup your log before install this version.

Standard practice with any upgrade and is well documented on the forum. Do the same with other folders such as logos, photos, silhouettes, outlines.

IS this a full release version of v6 or still a beta? Running a beta version dated november 2015 but was wondering if there is a later beta or full version?

Only what is available on the support page http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/ANRB60000Setup.exe no idea whether it is beta or a full version. I would suggest that you emailsupport@airnavsystems and ask whether it is a beta or full version.

For info V6 only works if connected to the internet.

interesting FYI. So if you go on the road with a laptop and a dvt dongle u can't run the system, unless u have an expensive mobile internet connection!!!! Not too many wifi hot spots at he end of runways!!
