I have a problem with XRANGE receiver. It stopped working about 48 hours (OFFLINE)
I did not get any email from the system, as it used to be, after 6 hours alerting me, the unit is OFFLINE.
On the website my station is listed as #15 in my area, but does not appear at all on the country list.
Here is what I tested so far on my side:
1. Unplug the unit for 10 min
2. Restart my router
When I restart the XRANGE I can see the white light for few secs and then I get a steady green light.
I can PING my XRANGE from my PC
Any advice will be thankful
Thanks

Hi
I did last week.
Still waiting for a reply
Thanks
Forwrd me your email address and I will contact them
Alan
I have run into the same issue. Mine has been offline for 10 days. I don't think ANYONE works in support. They are suppose to send instructions on re-flashing the box. After 10 days and repeated emails, no response. Totally unsatisfactory....

Did you manage to solve it or do you still have this issue?
Thanks
Crickets...... Still have the issue.. now on day 11....smh
I have tried emailing support and no reply, there seems to be an issue with their email system. Will try another method
Alan
Contacted support on whatsapp, looks like their email systemis playing up, passed on to the Developers to get fixed
Alan
I believe the email issue is now fixed so hopefully they can catch up on their emails
Alan
Thanks! I just received an email saying that a ticket has been created.. Now we await for technical assistance...

I was advised that a developer is needed to flash a disc when available, I dont believe that youcan do it yourself
Alan
Well after talking to support, they say my box is dead and have to buy a new box...
Being retire, it appears I will no longer be sending any more data out due to cost prohibitive constrictions.
Been fun while it lasted.
I am still waiting for a reply..
I am not optimistic after reading your comment.

Can you PM me your email please, your email on the forum is not found in our support tickets.

you are better off with a stick, they cost next to nothing, you can do a lot more with it and it can be stand alone
Alan
I get the feeling after all the run around that they are just trying to force me into buying a new box rather than flashing the SD card in my box.

I got last night a reply by Alex: this has been passed to our dev team
Waiting for more help. If needed I'll forward to you too.
Thanks
Thanks. This is the same response and flow i also received...
UPDATE:
I did not received any further reply from the support team, BUT!! as from 1 hour ago, my XRANGE started to work again by it self.
I do not know if someone did something remotely, or by any chance it was server side problem, but after 14 days it came back to life.
Thats good to know, possibly a developer got into it and fixed it but unless they tell you we will never know!!
Alan
I did not hear anymore from support. They never responded again, beside the first email.
I found it hard to believe someone connected remotely to my XRANGE, as I don't have any open ports from my router to my XRANGE. But, who knows.
I am very happy it is still working again.
Glad its working for you.....

It's possible for example with ZeroTier.

It is a xrange or xrange2?
Xrange, the older model.
support says they can't see my unit online but i can reach it using my local IP...
I never got any further reply from support.
I also could ping the box and enter the UI via local IP.
It just started to work again over here after 14 days

Did you try to keep it running and connected in the past few days?
I do not use XRange, instead I use Radarbox24's FlightStick for reasons listed below.
(1) FlightStick (US$ 50) is much cheaper than XRange (US $400)
(2) FlightStick can be plugged directly into usb port of Windows 8/10/11 PC and run by AirNav software ANRB version 6.003 installed on Windows PC
(3) As my Windows PC does not run 24/7, I have purchased a Raspberry Pi (Model 4B 4GB RAM, complete kit, for US$105), which I run 24/7, and have installed on it Radarbox24 provided software "rbfeeder". The FlightStick directly plugs into usb port of Raspberry Pi.
The total of FlightStick + Raspberry Pi Model 4B 4GB Complete KIt:
US$50 + US$105 = US$155
The (FlightStick+Raspberry Pi Model 4B) setup noted above costs a total of US$155, which is much cheaper than XRange-2, which costs US$400.

My uneducated guess, it might not be a problem with your unit itself.
Please send an update over your side. Thanks
