Hi to all !
I hope you are doing well !
Sorry to disturb you but I need your kind help.

Since mid February 2025, I am facing a serious issue with some of my Radarbox radars.
Indeed, the installation is the same for all my pi's that is to say on a FR24 image I have installed all the other feeders (Radarbox, FA, Adsbexch...).

But since mid February 2025, from one day to another, some of my Radarbox radars started to be shown "offline" in their statistics page with all in full red and no stats at all !!
Totally shown "offline" but the pi's are connected to the internet and correctly feeding all the others sites and the account linked to the radarbox radar facing the issue is still in "business" plan and not downgraded which means they really send data.

All the others sites on the pi's do not have this issue at all and they are all "online" with their stats page full of info.
Only some of my Radarbox radar are facing this issue !

I sent many many mails to the support of radarbox since that but no one from the support team has ever answered me. Believe me I sent so many mails to them but zero answer. I even do not know if there is still a support team at the moment.
That is why I am asking for your assistance.

Can you help me please ? Did someone faced that issue ? Thanks in advance.
Best regards to all
Have a great day.

Do you still see aircraft on your station map page, if so nothing to worry about as the issue is at the Airnav end and will be to do with an issue on the statistics script and your receiver is working ok

You will also show as synced to other stations, another sign that all is ok

What is your station number for the stations?

Hi Alan ! How are you !

Here are my radars still facing statistics issues :
* EXTRPI012402
* EXTRPI013087
* EXTRPI001361
No stats at all but still in business and this since mid February 2025.

Just to tell you that yesterday I tried several command I found on the forum (Thinking it would solve the issue if I reinstall rbfeeder).
After I purged I was unable at all to reinstall rbfeeder. I had so many error messages like "Unable to locate rbfeeder" and regarding "unverified signature" and also "rb24 list it" was very hard for me to reinstall it again. Sometimes it goes to the end but rbfeeder won't be installed and you have "command not found when you ssh".
Then I found on the forum the topic to "install rbfeeder on bookworm" and used the "workaround" but I had to try so many many times. The installation of rbfeeder is far more complicated now than the other feeds. It was a nightmare for me. Very stressful !
I select "Yes" when it prompted to install an "unverified" and then it was installed.

Also, I suppose there is not a support team anymore at Airnav because I got zero answer from them after I sent many many emails for months !

In the previous app we could filter the stations ranking worldwide by country and now this option has been removed and we must connect via PC browser to see the global ranking by country. Too bad.

Thanks a lot for your help.
Best wishes !

The support guys dont have much in the way of technical knowledge and cant diagnose issue from distance on Linux

While you have these receivers are online they are not feeding RB

There should be no issues in downloading on a clean unit, they are not any harder than any other service.  Also there is no need to use any workrounds now either

I presume you have Bookworm installed correctly on these units

Can you post the ini file for EXTRPI001361 with your details redacted and I will try and see if there is anything in there causing an issue

Hi Alan.
Thank you for your answer.

You can see the picture of the "ini" file of EXTRPI001361 still with no stats but in Business like the 2 others.

I can assure you that I wasn't able to install the rbfeeder easily it was very hard with lot of error messages and without the workaround I could not make it at all. I don't know why and it was stressful for me as I am not a Linux specialist.
I made my Pi installation using "bake a pie" on the forum with a FR24 image Pi24 and then installed all the other feeds. It Was in February 2024 and yes I have bookworm version.

Regarding the support team, I sent them also a lot of messages not related to linux but even that zero answers from them. Till now I still do not understand this huge silence from them this is not normal at all. Since February 2025 I am writing them !

Have a great day.
Best wishes.

Forget about statistics etc as while it is online it is not feeding

Some things are not correct on the ini file, was it done automatically or have you done it manually

It should be similar to the attached

Note your lat/lon/altitude should be located between your Pi serial number and Network

Also the python version should be 3.9 but that will be done automatically depending on your OS version

You sure you are on Bookwork, Please post output of following command which will show version of your OS
Code: [Select]
lsb_releas -a

No workround is required since the last update

Hi Alan.

It was done automatically in February 2024 with FR24 Pi24 and I have never made any change to the ini file and the issue came from one day to another without any warning.
Still 3 radars facing this issue. It was working very good and then it happened !

I understand well your answer regarding the workaround so maybe I have something causing that because it was hard for me.

I will send you the screen when I get home no problem of course.
I hope we will find a solution to fix that stats issue.

Thanks for your precious help.
Best wishes.

I have no idea why it would suddenly stop working but something must have changed.

The only suggestion I can make is for your to purge the RB feeder from your system and reinstall following the guide in the Radarbox page here https://www.airnavradar.com/raspberry-pi/guide

That is what I made last week and then I had to struggle immensely and finally had to use the workaround to finally have it installed.

Please can you give me if possible the ssh command to make it ? That is to say to purge cleanly ?

Thank you Sir Alan.
Best wishes.

I  dont know much about Linux but I suggest you run systemctl which will show the services you are running but I belive it is rbfeeder and in that case it will be

sudo apt-get purge rbfeeder

When you reinstall, during the process you will be asked to confirm details, please remember to add correctly also answering y/n as approptiate when requested
