Interesting Aircraft

Hi Ian, just picked that one up on the network but missed it on the hardware. Do you know if it actually passed over the IOM or north of the island? I've got a few coverage issues here due to the location of the antenna.

As Syd states it passed over the IOM towards Mikel then across to Ireland south of Duffy.

Ian/Syd, thanks for that, must be more of a blind spot than I thought then. Will have the antenna and pre-amp above the roof by the end of the week so hopefully that will sort it.

HI Chris thanks for the info on the 100-400. I would be planning on using it mostly at airshows/airports etc so hopefully the light issue would be less of a problem. I have found the 40D pretty good with the kit lenses supplied and with photoshop we can get away with a few minor adjustments.Yep we do get a good selection of en-routes, it's a shame a few don't stop off. It's getting boring photographing Flybe, Easyjet and even the biz jets are becomng regulars!!

It's been sitting at Farnborough since last Tuesday, departed shortly after 3pm today and landed at Prestwick 10 minutes ago.

Although not in itself an interesting aircraft, I thought I would highlight this one so that you can do any necessary database updating.

Just had A70002 GLF5 N550GA on my box just west of London. Most of you will already have this reg in your database as the Gulfstream G550 demonstrator with C/N 5155. However in February they replaced C/N 5155 with this factory fresh airframe C/N 5211. There is a photo of the new N550GA on airliners for people to upload.
