Did not look for A6-ABC at SHJ today.

Last time I noted A6-ABC flying was 6th Sep (however I was out for a few days in Sep), but that might fit with sighting of A6-RKC in full RAK c/s at ADAT AUH two weeks ago.

Time will tell, but ER-AXP disappeared at 0500 1/11/11 and 896336 (A6-RKC) turned up lunchtime 1/11/11 explaining initial speculation, but that turned out to be wrong.

Possibly you are right, but the ASCT call sign and steady f/l level made it appear more like a C130. Never seen a RAF TOR ping over here in over three years.

RAF Tornado always use RFR (radio C/S RAFAIR) when they transit, rather then the RRR (ASCOT) callsign used by the RAF Air Transport fleet.

With regard to the new RAK A320 A6-RKC, do you know if A6-ABC is still stored at Sharjah? Have seen it mentioned (may not necessarily be true) that RAK were taking a 'surplus' Air Arabia frame.

Been looking at Qatar Airways in new db, and seems some minor changes are needed.

Some Qatar Amiri Flight a/c (as I call it) show as Qatar Airways others as Qatar Government Amiri flight. I know many carry full Qatar Airways c/s and this is probably confusing to people who do not live out here. e.g. A7-AAH A340 and minibuses A7-MBK/MED/MHH are all Amiri a/c as are the A7-H.. series airliners. Very occasionally some turn up on scheduled flights, but it is rare.

Some A7-CE biz jets show as Qatar Airways some as Qatar Executive.
