I hazard a guess that first maybe a 'new' UAE Herc code (1216?) as 896C0D is 1215.
Second is maybe USMC as AE1BA8 onwards are USMC Hercs.

896C0E  unknown to me, 1216 is 89602E, 1215 should be 89602D are you stating these aircraft have definately been identified as miscoding and is 1214 89602C the same, or have these been re-coded?

AE1BA7  unknown to me

A9AB9F decodes to N40PT but this is not assigned by FAA according to their website.  N40PT is showing as reserved by a Michael Jackson on 28/10/2011. There have been 2 previous holders of the registration, a BE20 now in South Africa and a PAY3 re-registered in the US

I think at this stage I will keep AE4A7A as 168205 as per the d/b I use. They and Airframes also have 168206 as AE4A7B which keeps the sequence with 205 and I have 168204 as AE4A79, again in the same sequence.

Regarding EP-VIP, I cannot find anything on it.  I have A310-304 c/n 499 as destined for the Armenian Government

Locally we are beginning to suspect that the C130's have been changed to 'new' codes, as some of the new Avanti's eg 1207 (89602A) and 1208 (89602B) are now pinging using old C130 codes.

Trust its not THE Michael Jackson (deceased)!

3D0800 is decoding error (or miscoded airframe) of 3D080A D-EBHI a P28A.

484347 according to airframes this was P4-LJG a C750 of Ven Air Ltd, but was re-registered in 2008.

48ADA4 (Poland)

4BCDC2 was TC-SNB a B752 of sun express, but was re-registered this year.

About D-ETAB:

airframes has it with the details you stated, but I wasn't able to find any pictures of the PA38 D-ETAB. But I found some sources of the PP2 D-ETAB all from the past 2 month, so I think that D-ETAB is no longer the PA38.
