4B7F99, J-501, McDonnell Douglas F-18C Hornet, c/n 1316, Switzerland - Air Force

732056 decodes to EP-HBV, there have been two with this registration a Jet Ranger which was cancelled from the register and a Bell 205 which was w/o in a later life.  The one with the hex now is unknown

There have been 4 N9048K in the past with none with that registration now.  Possibly Ce510 RP-C7979 but thats just a guess as i think it was delivered earlier this year.

Been very reliably informed that this is A9C-BXK LJ60 miscoding (probably an arab pilot or engineer punching in Mode S numbers backwards out of habit by the looks of it)

What is the code of A9C-BXK, if unknown probably 894069!

X

Runway 31

Yes its 894069 c/n 60-338, Bexair

AE1277 unknown to me but Libhomeradar has it as 73-1583 which everyone else has as AE127C

From the mode-s forum the FY73 DM tie-ups are as follows:

AE1273 = 73-1594
AE1274 = 73-1595
AE1275 = 73-1590
AE1276 = 73-1580
AE1277 = ?
AE1278 = ?
AE1279 = 73-1588
AE127A = 73-1592?
AE127B = 73-1581
AE127C = 73-1583
AE127D = 73-1584
AE127E = 73-1585

Alan

As it was noted in Jeddah it is probably the Jet Ranger that was cancelled and possibly sold in Saudi but still using it's old code!

Runway 31

The JetRanger was a 1970 build aircraft.
