RF-78652 was "apparently" photographed at Chakalovsk on 7/3/19 (russiaplanes.net) but shot is nose on so one cannot see the reg, but I did pick it up.... and the reg in db is wrong as it shows 1E333A RF-76852 (should be 78652) but ffa states he saw it and 1E333A is now RF-78654!! It is very confusing I hope another photo side on comes up soon.

RF-78651 is now NO prefix 78651, an Ilyushin A-100 prototype (fitted with AWACS dome) It was an IL-76MD-90A and is operated by KB Beriev (TANTK)

Afternoon Alan,

Obviously you take the info from Military Mode S at your own risk as they have both 35350D and 35350E as P.3M-12.

Thanks for the email confirming your sighting 1E333A as being RF-78654 as it was noted previously on RF-78652. As stated in my post It should use 1F333E.

Maybe once an aircraft moves to the UVD740mhz freqency, the engineers are just moving the same box from plane to plane and not changing the hex miscode as 1E333A decodes to RA/RF-13114.

I also note that RF-78655 and RF-78656 are moving around and ought to be 1F333F and 1F3340 but if VVS (BBC) machines will probably only use UVD740mhz to ping. Have you noted those?
