Thanks again.

By stating "any idea why I keep getting WJA1226 showing up twice" do you mean that this flight ID always gives this issue every time you pick it up, or do you mean that on this occasion you had it twice against two different aircraft and it stayed that way throughout the duration of the contact.  If it is the latter it will be because the unit got confused and allocated the same flight ID to both aircraft.  If it is the former we have a problem!!

If you had looked at the individual flights, the aircraft details would have identified the true identity of the aircraft to the right of the photo or even on the grid itself as this information comes from the hex code and not the flight ID.  The correct user is therefore the WestJet Aircraft as it is a WJA flight ID and not the Air Canada one which should use ACA****

Hi Alan,

one more problem. My second computer also with that very old sofware version (oerated with a seperate box and antenna) is not connected with internet and therefore the database is also completely out of date. I tried to move the database (68000 KB) from my now perfect working computer into the data folder of the not connected one and i can do whatever i want it is not working.
Only the 18000 KB database (original) is working.
The List on the monitor will appear without Registration, aircraft type and sihlouettes if it takes the new NavData.db3 file.
What can i do to update the database? Installing the new software did also not work on that  not internet connected computer and if, i also could not press the button to update the database to get it to a today up to date database.

Rolf,

The old version cannot use the new Navdata as it is encrypted and can only be unencrypted by the new software, not the old version.

A suggestion to be able to get the software onto the new computer, does it have a USB port.  If so I suggest downloading the software onto a USB stick on the computer connected to the internet and then installing it onto the other computer.

I have noted that no changes made to the database since Tuesday morning are included in the Navdata.  They are showing on the server but the Navdata update routine looks like it is defective and  Airnav have been advised to fix it. 

I would imagine that populate and auto-populate will be OK as I have clicked on some unknowns after I updated the details and they populated and a route update I did this morning populated as normal when the aircraft came into my coverage.
