Interesting Aircraft

Just got my new RadarBox installed last night, and the second aircraft I picked up was MAGIC32, a corporate jet owned by Magic Johnson, the ex NBA star.  What a way to initiate my RadarBox.

Yeah, that was neat with his picture imedded in the logo.  I think I'm going to like this new toy, even if I am in the middlle of the US, far from any major airports.

No, I am in Southern Indiana, near Evansville.   I was only on about an hour last night, after downloading software and logging on for the first time.  I am using an Imac, and it made the install more......interesting!  No problems encountered, however.  Tonight, I try and run ACARS with Radarbox--we'll see what happens.

I was lucky enough today to catch the NASA WB-57F high altitude research aircraft returning from a sortie to RAF Mildenhall. Only two examples of this aircraft exist. It's a highly modified version of the English Electric Canberra bomber, built for NASA by the Martin Aircraft Company. Click on the links below the thumbnails for larger versions.

You Lucky standing on the outside, I work on Mildenhall base and I can see it in the hanger, but if i was to take a camera near it, they would shoot me.

A flight crew from Johnson Space Center in Houston arrived at Mildenhall on Oct. 8 to begin a monthlong operation, which involves sending a two-man team in a WB-57 aircraft to an altitude of 50,000 feet to capture the microscopic particles.
