Hi List

Can anyone explain why manual updates are automatically deleted after a new application start ? I introduced a lot of new routes with mark "N" in auto update and today I checked they were all missing (?).

Please advise.

Carlos,

When you re-install the app your are wiping everything you had previously and starting from sctrach by installing the Navdata that comes with the installation.  Before re-installing you should save files you want to keep like MyLog and in your case your Navdata with your saved routes.  I wouldn't think that there will be many missing if you do an update to todays Navdata update

Thanks again hunter.  I presume YV618T is still using its old hex A1F4AB

Hi Alan

I reinstall V6.01.001 a few time ago and made an database update, everything ok at the time but actually this happens is normal daily use, for ex yesterday I inserted a lot of routes and later I turn off the application and PC. Today when I turn it on the routes weren't there no more, I've got a backup, however I would like to identify this problem and solve it before I use it.

Carlos

If you are noting a route missing you could always post it here and I will enter it into the database.

In addition to having the route marked N have you also unticked Auto Populate Route Data

I just entered two routes into the database using your feed and seeing no route allocated.

Yesterday 4/6 all manually routes introduced were with "N" but the day before, 3/6 all routes inserted qere with "Y", in both cases they disapeared, for data I use 20170604000000 (ex for yesterday). For example I introduced 2 routes for RVP with "Y" two or three days ago and they disapeared from daatbase (?). I use ANRB since begining begining (2008) with different software versions and this this teh first time I have this kind of problem.

However I can create a excel file with new routes detected over Lisbon and share it here for you or someone with Administrator privileges introduce them in the main ANRB database.

Please advise because I just can't understand why manually insert data disapear from my local database (?). In available options I checked "do not update changed manually records" but it seems is not working for me...

I have no idea Carlos, it is hard from here as I cannot see what you are doing.  When you enter the data do you click elsewhere on the table to save it before moving onto the next route

In addition to having the route marked N have you also unticked Auto Populate Route Data, you must do both.  In addition if you do a Database Update do you use the option Do Not Update Manually changed Records

I enter route data each day so any new route info can be posted here as others do

I proceed for the same way for years, introducing data and click in the next field to save before create a new route. The mark "N" was just a test for one day to see what happened. Always I update database "Do Not Update Manually changed Records" is checked by default.

I have already created a Excel file with spreed sheets from June to December to regist the new routes detected and I'm going to attach it here to a post when new data available if possible, other way I manually insert it on the coment, is it ok for you this way ?
