Morning Alan,

Thanks for the info on the Vueling flight. Everyone and his granny appears to operate flights from Alicante to Gatwick but try and get just one flight to go to Heathrow and you have no chance.

JAF86T : GMMX-LFML
ANE5409 : LFBO-LEMI
VLG69AJ : LEBL-LEAM
TOM5219 : LEAL-EGKK Flight being operated by Norwegian B737 EI-FHZ.
TOM7293 : LEAL-EGBB Flight being operated by Olympus A321 SX-ABY.

I do not know if you are at home at the moment but it seems like an ideal time for photographing DC-3's at PIK (like going back to the 60's when there were many at PIK). I take it that this is for the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

Do any squit a hex?

I wish I could be there at the end of Runway 31 :)

Hi X

Was down to see the Daks on Thursday and got some photos.  Yes they are over for the 75th Anniversary of D Day and one of the aircraft at Prestwick named "That's All Brother" was the lead aircraft on the day, amazing how it survived all this time.  They all squitted their hex.

Have attached a few photos and give due credit to the photographers

I love the photos, especially the sight with the group on the ramp......Oh for the good old days at PIK.....USAF, US Navy, RCAF and many others including Ulster Airways.....brings back many memories :)
