Morning Terry

Regarding 62-3582 my d/b shows this to be a WC-135C as does https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_WC-135_Constant_Phoenix 3rd paragraph of Operational history.  What is your source which details different

Also IACO DOC8643 details C135 as the correct code for WC-135

Thanks again

Alan

Terry,

I note that was from 2005 and refers to RC-135W but not 62-3582 specifically so I will stick with what I know

Also note that 3 KC-135R's are going to be converted to WC-135R starting later this year and as it states in the last paragraph from the link below these will replace the current WC-135C and WC-135W aircraft https://www.defensenews.com/smr/nuclear-triad/2018/04/25/air-force-to-start-transforming-tankers-into-wc-135-nuke-sniffers-this-year/

Afternoon Alan,

KTK9711 : UUWW-GMAD
AEA5013 : LEMG-LEPA
DAH1206 : DAAG-LFPG

Something untoward currently happening at Alicante. All arrivals are diverting to Corvera (give them something to do) and Valencia. Haven't been any departures for at least a couple of hours. The arrivals/departures board does not give any clues .

Afternoon Ian.  From what I can gather it seems to be an aircraft blocking the runway for some reason.  Just watched EJU72LF come over the top turn downwind but is now heading north presumably for Valencia.

Cheers Alan.

Easyjet from Southend looks to be heading over to Ibiza. That's a bit inconvenient ! Possibly wasting a bit of time to see if the runway is going to open anytime soon.
